Open For Business

Hannah set up her card booth this morning.

Priced all the cards with an official pricing gun.

She has made well over 200 cards so far.

We framed a few to show their versatility.

Now it's time to wait and see how they do. Hope keeps remarking, "I can't believe Hannah has a REAL JOB!"

Princess Pictures

Just a few pictures from the party.

More earrings for when she can take out her posts.

I think I have a pained expression on my face. Sorry. I wasn't in pain.

At least Abby looks happy.

And others were happy, too.

Summer Days

What to do when Daddy is busy working around the house (and spot spraying the thistle in the field so kids have to leave home for the day)?

Lunch at a fancy tea house after having fun trying on formals at the consignment shop down the street. (Jacob didn't try on any dresses)

Swimming!

For Jon

Jon wanted some ideas for good stories that have nice pictures as well. Here are a few ideas from the library on the windswept plains.

Lots of classic books have nice pictures.

Books by Robert McCloskey are always good.

These are fun read-alouds for the younger years. You will want to read them ahead of time and do a bit of verbal editing since they are a bit racist in parts.

Anything by Tasha Tudor will guarantee you a visual masterpiece.

And a sweet, gentle story from another time.

Fun books for dog lovers. Angus' curiosity always gets him in trouble.

More classics. Mike Milligan is a must for boys.

Francis is always a hoot.

These simplified "Little House" stories have lovely pictures.

There- does that get you started? :)

A few pics from Aunt Melody

Not sure why these are so small.
