Enjoying Fall

Abby finished with her clinicals this week for her CNA (certified nurse's assistant) certification. She has a couple of more classes in November, then on to take her exam. This should give her a good idea if nursing is the career for her! She liked certain aspects of working in the nursing home, but really liked working in the rehab facility, which was on the last day.

A Fall Trip To Estes Park

During our trip to Estes Park, Jacob felt car sick.  So we found this candy store with every kind of candy ever made (it seemed like) and we picked up some hard candy for the trip back.  We may have picked up some other candies, too. 

And Hope found this unicorn head in the store and had to try it on, of course.

Starbucks is everywhere.

It was thundering and lightening while we were there, so our time outside was limited.  

We stopped by for a peek at the historic Stanley Hotel.

20 Years Ago! And Pictures From The Past

A Happy Sunday

Jacob was baptized in church this morning. He had been wanting to do this for quite awhile, and it seemed to be the right time now.

Since Brian felt uncomfortable doing the baptizing, Jacob asked his Sunday School teacher, Tom, to baptize him. They were both nervous, but did very well :).

Abby's snowman is looking dapper.

Hope loves to walk around in the snowman's hat. And crash into everything. 

We dressed up this year (for the first time).  Brian is laundry and I am static cling.

Abby is the main character from the movie "Brave" and Hannah is Jonah with a 5 o'clock shadow.

Hope went as Delilah, complete with a hairbrush, scissors and a rope on her belt. Jacob was a rubix cube, but we forgot to get his picture...

There were extra pumpkins at the grocery store, so our resident produce assistant brought a few home for us to decorate with.
