:)

Who is that scary looking brown creature?

Ahhhh! It's eating the children! Run!

It's Jacob as the cubbies mascot. And I completely understand why several little girls were huddling in the corner, afraid to join the group. It's like your worst nightmare about your teddy bear, come true. (Yes, Jacob was very nice with the children, but still...)

A Day at the Grocery Store, by Hannah

The computer (or blogger) wouldn't let me rearrange these pictures, so here they are in the order I uploaded them.

Refreshing the Booth

Some of Hannah's newest designs.

I really like the owls. I think it's the surprised look in the eyes.

We put out the Christmas candy. I hope it sells...

We obviously are not keeping with a fall theme throughout the sections.

A little something for everyone- no matter what season you're feeling in at the moment.

Early Fall, by Jacob

I gave the camera to Jacob and asked him to take some fall pictures.

This is part of what he came up with.

The rest were blurry shots of Hope as he chased her around the house...

Early Fall (Pictures by Hannah)

Candy and Porcupines

While we were making Christmas candy to sell at the booth, Lucy came in from outside.

Her face had 33 porcupine quills sticking out of it! She had such a confused look on her face, as if saying, "I have no idea what just happened to me!"

So Hope and I finished the candy while Brian, Jacob and Abby tended to the dog. (Hannah was in bed since she has early morning classes and it was, after all, 11pm)

Abby is making a few friendship bracelets to put in the booth as well. We bought more of the teal color thread yesterday so she can make more colorful ones.

If these don't sell, guess what she'll be giving for gifts this Christmas?

Happy Birthday to Abby!

After a busy night at AWANA, we came home to a nice dinner made by Hannah while we were gone.

There was no cake, so Abby blew out one of the candles burning at the table.

Opening her gift. I had taken her shopping earlier and she had picked out a shirt.

But Hannah went back to the store and picked up the sweater Abby had liked, too.

We love you, Abby!
