Cold, windy day today. We brought some of the flowers in from outside, expecting out first frost tonight. So glad we have flannel sheets on the beds!

Rivendell looks so beautiful in the fall, doesn't it? And all the elves look so artsy in their turtleneck sweaters.
I had to ask Hannah and Abby what you were talking about. They filled me in:). I only saw the last scene in "Lord of the Rings" when the ugly little creature with the ring dies and the people are happy afterwards. There were no artsy elves in that part of the story, sadly.
